Zhong cares about the school district

This is the first year in Plainsboro where school board candidates and presidential candidates will share the same ballot. School board member Yu Taylor Zhong is running for reelection this year. I ask Plainsboro voters to vote for him, because he cares about this school district.

The role of the school board member is not to run the schools, but to make sure that the schools are well run. Boards operate through policy to be effective and efficient, and to avoid appearing to be frivolous, capricious or unreasonable.

Members of the board of education are elected by qualified voters in the communities of West Windsor and Plainsboro. Taylor listens to parents on many issues, such as dedicating High School North baseball field to late David Bachner. For this topic, Taylor spoke to dozens of parents, alumni and residents. He read many reports about David Bachner and communicated with David’s parents. He voted “yes” for the policy.

Election provides citizens the freedom to practice their rights. Everyone should use this right to its full potential. Everyone over 18 should register to vote in this election. The decision is on the your hands, hence, it is up to you whether the next board member is the one you considered qualified.
