The Mercer County Symphonic Band will perform its annual spring concert on June 3 at 8 p.m. The concert will take place at Kelsey Theater located on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College.

The band will perform the “1812 Overture” by Tchaikovsky. In addition to this performance will be other more contemporary works including Alfred Reed’s “Golden Jubilee,” Art Dedrick’s “A Touch of Tuba” and Frank Ticheli’s arrangement of “Shenandoah.”

Admission to the concert is free.

The band is in its 34th year performing and is open to all area musicians, including MCCC students, without audition. Participation is free and does not carry course credit.

The band performs annually at the MCCC graduation ceremony.
