Finding a Balance

Thank you, Dr. Aderhold, for taking steps to restore balance to our students’ academic lives. It would have been easier to continue to drive up our already impressive rankings by focusing on ever higher academic achievements. I applaud the efforts of you and your team who researched and recommended these changes to help our children be enthusiastic, creative (and dare I say happy) life-long learners. Career experts keep reminding us that for most people, emotional intelligence (EQ) is more important than one’s intelligence (IQ) in attaining success in their careers and lives. Thank you for working to help our children strike that balance.
