I would remind Plainsboro residents to re-elect Peter Cantu on November 8. Plainsboro has transformed itself under him and the township committee in recent years. Let’s take a look at Mr. Cantu’s achievements:

New hospital: One of the best in the country, it brings with it Children’s Hospital and fitness center.

New library, a center for community activities to benefit ethnic communities. It has the largest Mandarin collection in central Jersey and brings 1,000-plus visitors to the town center and the surrounding retail community daily.

Redevelopment project on the old FMC site will create $1 billion worth of economic activity.

Novo Nordisk’s commitment to build its world headquarters and invest $210 million in the former Merrill Lynch/BlackRock facility.

One of the Top 100 places to live in the U.S.

New bus routes serving the new hospital, offices, and residential communities in town.

Municipal tax is only 15 percent of total tax and has ranked at the bottom of the municipal tax rates in Middlesex County.

Peter Cantu has been in township committee for 37 years. He has delivered excellent results and worked successfully with a diverse township committee. Let’s re-elect Peter Cantu and support our community for an even brighter future.
