Runner’s Thanks

I would like to thank you (and specifically Lynn Miller) for your article about my Tug McGraw Foundation fundraising efforts that you ran in the March 19 issue. The Foundation seeks to raise awareness and improve the quality of life for those confronted with brain tumors and related conditions. I appreciate the attention this has brought to this charity, and the support that people have given me.

I ran the New York City Half Marathon with Team McGraw on March 21, and finished in a time of 2:41:57. The course took me around Central Park, down 7th Avenue, and down to lower Manhattan. Many of the spectators noticed my Team McGraw singlet as they were cheering me on.

Anyone who would like to help this wonderful organization can visit my fundraising page (www.active.com/donate/teammcgrawnyc2010/tmnycm10SChapma) to make a donation. Alternatively, if you give me a check made out to the Tug McGraw Foundation I will forward it to the foundation.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me as I run the New York City Marathon with Team McGraw on November 7.
