More than 850 supporters “stomped out stigma” on May 17 at the 7th Annual NAMI Mercer Walk on the campus of Educational Testing Service in Princeton.

NAMI Mercer, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, sponsored the event with the dual goals of fighting stigma and raising money to support its free programs for individuals and families affected by mental illness.

The spring walk-a-thon is NAMI Mercer’s largest community outreach activity and the organization’s greatest fundraiser. This year’s event brought in more than $125,000 in individual and corporate donations. The walk’s “Premiere” sponsor was Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals.
