Mosque Will Bring Too Much Traffic

I am a resident of Elements at West Windsor, and I saw the letter “Study the Costs of Mosque Approval” in the March 18 issue. I live on Orleans Street, and the proposed building will be directly in my backyard.

There will be a large turnout from the residents of Elements at West Windsor at the Thursday, April 7, meeting when the township will consider whether to grant a zoning variance. When we purchased our homes the property directly behind Orleans Street was zoned for a health club or nursery school. We are extremely concerned about the additional traffic and noise that will be generated by this building.

The plans call for a 45,000 square foot building and parking for more than 200 cars. I would not have purchased this home if I had known that there would be 200 cars coming and going directly behind my home, especially on weekends.
