I was saddened to learn that the life lost in an accident on Route 571 near the Southfield Shopping Center was that of a young woman only 18 years old.
I frequently drive by the memorial placed on a tree in her honor. It is a touching reminder of both the frailty of human life and the enduring devotion of loved ones.
