My name is Mike Ruskuski and I am running for re-election as a member of the Board of Fire Commissioners of Plainsboro Fire District Number 1.

The Board of Commissioners is responsible for providing fire protection to the residents and businesses of Plainsboro through paid firefighters and a service agreement with the Plainsboro Volunteer Fire Company. We are also responsible for the fire station and the fleet of fire apparatus.

I have been a volunteer firefighter in Plainsboro for 17 years. I joined because I wanted to serve the community. I bring that same commitment to the position of Commissioner.

I current serve as the treasurer for the fire district and I also use my experience as an IT professional to help the fire district’s computer operations.

I offer the citizens of Plainsboro a commitment to continuing the excellent fire protection services that they have received for more than 50 years. As treasurer, I am committed to making sure that you get the biggest fire protection bang for your tax dollar.

During the past few years, we have been taking the steps to plan for the future of fire protection in Plainsboro. I believe that my experience and expertise will contribute to a safe community.

I ask for your support in the fire district election on Saturday, February 16, from 2-9 p.m. Voting takes place at the Plainsboro Fire Station at 405 Plainsboro Road.

Sincerely,

— Michael Ruskuski, Plainsboro
