The Election Day is right around the corner. I’m writing to endorse Yanping Helen Ming for her candidacy for WW-P Board Of Education.

I got to know Helen through our mutual interest and commitment to community engagement. We were both PTA volunteers at Maurice Hawk Elementary School. I was very impressed by the way she expressed herself at meetings and in one-on-one conversations with matter-of-fact comments grounded in logic, completely free of pretense or partisanship. Her sustained presence at school activities, PTA events etc. demonstrated complete devotion to the PTA and its bigger mission of making our schools and community the best and safest possible place for our children to learn and grow up in.

It is comforting to see more people like Helen Ming from diverse cultural backgrounds interested in getting involved in serving our community. By embracing diversity, we become stronger. I believe Helen’s voice is a breath of fresh air and her ideas will invigorate our Board of Education. By addressing our issues and problems from different perspectives, we only grow stronger.

Please join me in supporting Helen Ming, a new voice with a strong, clear vision sure to make our community a better place to live.
