Letter: Miller should be accountable

I am writing in response to your article in the June 28, 2018 Police Blotter regarding West Windsor Council president being charged in relation to a hit and run accident in McCaffrey’s parking lot in the Southfield Shopping Center.

As an elected official for these many years, Ms. Miller should be held to a higher standard regarding her actions, having been entrusted by her constituents to do the right thing.

Now, only a court of law can decide if, in this particular case, she did, in fact, fulfill this obligation.

To Ms. Miller, doing the right thing is paramount to being an effective leader. Besides, it’s good for your karma, the spiritual belief that what you do today will affect your future existence.

Now, Alison, is the time to do the right thing. Admit responsibility and apologize.
