Letter: Howard Hughes would benefit the community

I was fortunate to attend the May 10 presentation by the Howard Hughes Corporation to learn about their proposed redevelopment of the American Cyanamid site. I am excited about this project because I believe it will benefit the community in many ways.

For instance, although my fiancé and I love this community, we’ve always discussed how there is a need for more housing, retail and commercial opportunities in the area. In fact, we welcome the different housing types this project would offer and would certainly consider purchasing a new home in this development.

Also, in addition to serving as a paralegal, I have owned my own juicing business for three years and believe we need more retail space for boutique shops. As a result, this project could potentially allow us to live and work right here in West Windsor.

I am just one of many people I know who are anxious to see this project transform this community.
