Dear Members of the Jewish Community:

On behalf of the Jewish Community Center’s Board of Directors and staff, I am excited to announce that the JCC entered into a lease agreement with the brand new Windsor Athletic Club (WAC). A cornerstone of this new agreement is the relocation of JCC Abrams Day Camp and Teen Travel to the beautiful property located at 99 Clarksville Road in West Windsor, and includes use of the WAC’s facilities for both our summer camp and year-round family programs. In addition, the JCC will relocate its offices to 99 Clarksville Road.

We want it to be clear to the community that the four-agency “Campus” project, unfortunately, did not raise enough capital and is not going forward. However, through this exciting new lease with the WAC, both the JCC and Abrams camps are still able to reap many of the benefits of the property at 99 Clarksville Road.

The great news is that the JCC is alive and well. We wanted you to be the first to hear about the Abrams Camp’s new location. As you know, the Abrams Day Camp and Teen Travel have been successfully located on the Rider University campus for seven years, but we have outgrown our space. We are most grateful to Rider University for seven great summers for our campers.

Last December the JCC Board decided that a lease with the Windsor Athletic Club would enable the Jewish Community Center to dust itself off, look to the future, and create a springboard — not only for the Abrams Camp but for the JCC as a whole.

In addition to this amazing new camp location, we anticipate that new JCC programming and indoor activities will be held on-site at the brand new Windsor Athletic Club located at 99 Clarksville Road. We will be partnering with the Board of Rabbis on programs as well.

Here are some of the new “wow” factors for the JCC Camps and programs:

Exclusive campground on 20+ acres, providing improved safety and security

State-of-the-art air conditioned full court gymnasium

Increased athletic fields and gaga courts

Exceptional heated indoor six-lane, 25 meter saltwater pool with natural sunlight

Banquet facilities for increased opportunities for Jewish programming, camp recruiting, movies, concerts, banquets, fundraisers and events

State-of-the-art workout facilities with special pricing for JCC and camp families

Centrally located within the Princeton Mercer Bucks Area

The JCC of Princeton Mercer Bucks is 103 years old. We honor all those that came before us by carrying on the tradition of serving our Jewish community. This new business relationship with the WAC will allow us to grow the number of Jewish children and families that we provide programs to and empower us to proudly build upon the century-long tradition that is ours in the Delaware Valley.

We look forward to giving tours and showing off our new camp site. Please pass along this fabulous news to all of your friends and colleagues. Stay tuned for more exciting news regarding new JCC year-round programs and events as well. Visit www.JCCAbramsCamps.org.
