Before Sidewalks, Common Sense

In response to the article on having a bike route on Cranbury road and more sidewalks: I’m all in favor for the safety of all who enjoy walking and biking. Driving through some of these neighborhoods that have sidewalks, very rarely do I see people using them. They are in the street walking. Some are two to three side by side and don’t know enough to get out of the road when a car comes or maybe get on the sidewalk.

It’s the same way with bicyclists — two or more across and it doesn’t occur to them to get in a single file when a car comes. I’m tired of hearing what is needed for our community, and then when it’s provided it’s never utilized properly. Common sense and common courtesy are no longer part of anyone’s life.
