5K dog walk to support Autism Speaks

A fido-friendly 5k to support Autism Speaks is set for Mercer County Park.

The third annual Central N.J. Bark Now for Autism Speaks, a 5K dog-friendly walk, is scheduled for April 12.

Proceeds support Autism Speaks’ work, both locally and nationally, to increase awareness about the growing autism health crisis, fund innovative autism research and family services, and advocate for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

Bark Now for Autism Speaks includes a 5K dog walk, light refreshments for both humans and their furry friends, and music by 94.5 PST.

Check-in for the walk is set to begin 10 a.m., the walk is scheduled to start 11 a.m. at Mercer County Park East Picnic Area in West Windsor.

Pre-registration is $25 per dog. Registration is $30 day-of event.
