Trenton Animal Shelter overwhelmed after hoarding house rescue

The Trenton Animal Shelter has posted about an emergency situation on its

Facebook page

.

They say they have a hoarding case of 42 dogs rescued, but have only 20 kennels in their facility at 72 Escher St., Trenton. They are asking for volunteers to drop off crates and food at the shelter.

They are assessing dogs now for transport to the Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services, or CARES, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Volunteers from the nonprofit Trenton Animals Rock are helping out, and Trenton Animals Rock is also raising money on its Facebook page.
