Loring Hughes, 67, of Lawrenceville, died on October 25.

A fine artist, her work was featured in a number of shows during the 1990s and 2000s including two “Strength of the Mind” exhibitions at The John McEnroe Gallery in New York City; “Narrative Stance” (2000), a two-person show with Tom Kelly at The Gallery of Mercer County College, West Windsor; “After September 11” (2002) at the former Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, now the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs; and the “Trenton Artists’ Workshop Summer Invitational,” (2002) at the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie.
