Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce named Barry Szaferman Champion of Business for January 2014.

Szaferman is a co-founder and managing partner of Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein & Blader, P.C. He accepted the award in front of a crowd of more than 180 people, one of the largest at a Chamber lunch, at the Marriott at Princeton Forrestal Village on Jan. 9.

A Princeton Regional Chamber Panel chose Szaferman for his decades of significant influence in the region’s business growth and his generous community support.

Szaferman has been involved in the Princeton area business community for decades, having started Szaferman Lakind in 1977 just miles down the road from its current location near the Quakerbridge Mall in Lawrenceville.

In addition, to actively practicing law and managing Szaferman Lakind, his career achievements include president of the Mercer County Bar Association, president of the Mercer County Bar Foundation, recognition as a New Jersey Super Lawyer every year since 2005 and Thomson Reuters/Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating every year since 1992.
