Notre Dame High School students donated $2,500 to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Foundation through their 2012 Pink Out Fundraiser.

The donation is to be used to support need-based mammography screenings for patients of RWJ Hamilton’s Family Health Center who lack insurance or the resources to pay for such services.

Notre Dame’s cheerleading team coordinates an annual Pink Out Day as part of ND Cares, the ongoing support system for breast cancer patients and their families. The proceeds from a pink T-shirt drive and school fundraisers support breast cancer prevention and awareness in the community.

Notre Dame plans to make additional annual contributions of $1,000 to the RWJ Hamilton Foundation to support breast health.
