Meals on Wheels volunteers honored for long-term service

Lawrence Township Meals on Wheels honored its volunteers at a luncheon at Slackwood Presbyterian Church.

Three volunteers were recognized for their long term commitment to delivering meals to MOW clients.

Honorees were Doris Gagliardi for 30 years of service, Elizabeth Williams for 27 years and Sandra Pollack for 20 years. Each woman receives a bouquet of roses.

MOW board of directors gave each volunteer potted geraniums from Willis Florist and antique demitasse tea cups filled with chocolate candies.

Additionally, volunteers dined on food from Leonardo’s II Restaurant. Door prizes were provided by Michael’s Family Restaurant, Crystal Diner, Leonardo’s II Restaurant and US Nails.
