Lawrence nine year old goes Caroling for a Cause

On December 20, nine-year-old Sean Liebowitz led a service project to raise money for HomeFront, an organization working to end homelessness in Mercer County.

Liebowitz, a resident of Lawrence and a third grader at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Hearts, invited his classmates to raise money by going caroling in his neighborhood.

Overall, the project raised $1,075 and collected six bags of clothing and toys for HomeFront.

On January 13, Liebowitz had the opportunity to personally deliver to the check and donations to HomeFront’s Family Preservation Center in Ewing. He was able to tour the center which provides shelter, food, clothing and support to 40 homeless mothers and their children.

Liebowitz is already planning to make “Caroling for a Cause” into an annual Princeton Academy tradition.
