Lawrence Community Foundation awards $24,340 in grants

The Lawrence Township Community Foundation presented grants totaling $24,340 to 16 local community organization on May 8. Since it began more than a decade ago, the foundation has given out more than a million dollars in grants.

The recipients are Big Red Race, Dress for Success Mercer County, Friends of the Lawrence Greenway, Girl Scouts Gold award, HomeFront, Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County, Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association, Lawrence High School Project Graduation, Lawrenceville Main Street, NAMI Mercer, People and Stories/Gente y Cuentos, Prevention Education Inc./PEI Kids, Slackwood School English as a Second Language, English School at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, Womanspace and Lawrence Lacrosse Club.
