Lawrence Community Center is set to offer new fitness classes for residents starting January 2016.

On January 7, the center will launch Body Back, an eight-week, results based fitness program designed for moms who want to reclaim their body, whether they just had a baby or their last child was born twenty years ago. The program aims to help women unlock their potential in a supportive and inspiring environment. Body Back is made up of two High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts per week, nutritional coaching, a meal plan and food diary, home workout DVD and before and after fitness assessments.

The Community Center is also set to hold Shaolin Hung-Gar & Tai Chi Institute classes including authentic Tn-Chi, Qi-Gong and Baguazhang. Tai Chi is known to boost immunity and improve physical health in Seniors. Overall health benefits include improved strength, better balance, reduced pain and stiffness, enhanced sleep and lower stress and blood pressure.

Lawrence Community Center also welcomes residents to take advantage of its free open gym time, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. during weekdays. The center is located at 295 Eggert Crossing Road in Lawrenceville.
