Hopewell Business Association elects new president

Hopewell Business Association elected Beverly Kidder as its new president.

Kidder and her husband Jason own the Decorators Consignment Gallery, an upscale furniture and accessories store, located on Railroad Place.

She started the business in 1993 in Blawenburg. After expanding the original location twice, Kidder purchased the 8,000 square feet building in Hopewell.

Kidder graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in radio, television and film. After graduation, she worked for Duval-Boudreau Advertising in Milwaukee, where she worked with clients such as Ringling Brothers Circus and Bob Hope.

Later, Kidder started her own advertising agency called Advanced Marketing Group near Green Bay, Wisconsin

The Hopewell Business Association is dedicated to promoting and representing the interests of Hopewell businesses. Monthly meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of the month. The next meeting will is set for Sept. 19 at the Hopewell Bistro, 15 East Broad St.
