The Garden Gate Garden Club of Lawrenceville plans to host a program titled “Vermicomposting- the other way of composting” at 7 p.m. on April 20. The event will take place at the Lawrence Township Senior Center located at 30 Darrah Lane East.

The program will be presented by Lawrence Township resident Belinda Silver. Belinda will be talking about the advantages of composting and discuss different methods of composting. She will end her presentation by walking guests through the steps of beginning their own compost bin to use at home.

Ms. Silver strives to live life a little more simply with as little impact on the earth as possible. She is a strong advocate for reducing the amount of consumer items that are regularly accumulated and reusing the items whenever possible, for as long as possible.
