Exhibitors to compete for blue ribbon at 4-H Fair

Crafters and hobbyists are invited to share their skills at the 95th annual Mercer County 4-H Fair.

The fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 3 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 4 at Howell Living History Farm, 70 Woodens Lane, Lambertville.

Individuals of any age are eligible to exhibit in the Open Division categories at the fair. Entries may include family recipes, homegrown vegetables and craft and art projects.

A full listing of categories is in the fair’s exhibit book, which is online.

Along with exhibitors, the fair included children’s activities, hay rides, farming demonstrations and food vendors.

This year’s theme is, “4-H = Youth at Work: Leading us into the Future”

Admission and parking are free.
