Chapin School students brought audiences “under the sea” during their presentation of The Little Mermaid, Jr. April 11 – 12.

A cast of 63 fifth through eight graders dance, sang and acted in the school’s annual Show Choir production.

The show was produced and directed by Missy McCormick and Chapin music director Desiree Melegrito.

“It’s a lot of work for students from memorizing lines and remembering their blocking to learning an intricate dance routine and singing confidently,” McCormick said in a statement. “On top of that, a lot happens in students’ lives over the course of an entire year. We know our students must take their roles very seriously, otherwise, they simply can’t do what they do.”

The Show Choir includes Mercer County residents Jillian Langendoerfer, Sarah Park, Dhanna Rodriguez-Rosero (East Windsor); Alexis Moise, Milan Moise (Ewing); Emily DeGeorge, Eric Gellasch, Sidney Walters (Hamilton Township); Andrew Quinn, Charlotte Quinn (Hightstown); Alexandra DiNovi, Riley Felsher, Mary Griswold, Thomas Maguire, Carolyn McLaughlin, Olivia Schroeder-Positano, Mark Usiskin (Hopewell Township); Inez Amer, Ben Barkofsky, Matthew Bavier, Mariel Egan, Olivia Egan, Pate Jessop, Bridget Kane, Matthew Laws, Robbie Lynch, Alyssa Martin, Joseph Martin, Molly McLaughlin, Melia Rao, Sal Rego, Jeffrey Tao (Lawrence Township); Hope Ammidon, Natalie Besselaar-Abrams, Sara Covin, Shaunak Dagalur, Aimee Millington, Emily Moini, Michael Pavicic, Grace Piasecki, Rohit Pothacamury, Phoebe Price, David Prilutsky, Zoe Price, Josh Rajan, Sidharth Ramachandran, Ranya Russo, Max Schmuckler, Eric Veltri (Princeton); Shelby Hinchman (Robbinsville) Jaydin Avery, Valentina DeWitt, Makayla Gordon, Bryce Lofton, Ajani Owens, Amanda Zheng (Trenton); Elizabeth Hu, Atreya Iyer and Hannah Kader (West Windsor Township).
