Ben Franklin Elementary School students celebrated the arrival of autumn at the fourth annual Fall Fest Oct. 12.

About 1,000 people attended this year’s event. Kids enjoyed a fun run, face painting, bounce house, pumpkin painting and carnival games.

Vendors filled the bus driveway in front of the school and donated raffle prizes. Third grade student volunteers sold refreshments.
