Rabbi Benjamin Adler and Hazzan Arthur Katlin show students of the Adath Israel Religious School the Ten Commandments as it appears in the handwritten scroll of the Torah in preparation for the Jewish holiday of Shavuot.
Adath Israel Congregation is set to begin its celebration of Shavuot with a light meal and study session at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, followed by services at 9 p.m. The congregation is located at 1958 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville.
Services will continue Sunday, May 24 at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. as well as Monday, May 25 at 9:30 a.m. (including the Yizkor memorial service).
