Quilting talk set for May 7

Hopewell Public Library’s Wednesday Night Out series is set to feature a talk on modern and traditional quilting.

Quilters Lori Saporito and Cindy Friedman are set to speak 7 to 8 p.m. May 7 at the Hopewell Train Station.

Saporito and Friedman have been avid quilters for a combined total of 30 years. Saporito is a “modern” quilter and Friedman is a “traditional” quilter.

The presenters will have samples of completed quilts, as well as samples demonstrating the process of making a quilt.

The event is free and open to the public;and no quilting experience is necessary.
