Power walk through St. Michael’s Farm Preserve set for Black Friday

M3 Studios founder and owner Mel Johnson is set to host a post-Thanksgiving walk and morning of fitness

A free “power walk,” held in cooperation with the D&R Greenway Land Trust, is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 29. Johnson will lead a fast-paced walk through the village of Hopewell to the scenic overlook at the top of the St. Michael’s Farm Preserve and back.

Walkers are set to meet at 7:50 a.m. at M3 Studios, 5 Railroad Place, in Hopewell Borough. Bottled water will be provided. The walk is expected to take less than an hour.

Participants should come dressed for the weather and wearing athletic shoes.

A group personal training class is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. The 45-minute program includes cardio and strength training.

The morning ends with a yoga class led by M3 trainer Kristie Rosenberg at 10:15 a.m.
