A Fourth of July tradition returns to the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre stage with Stars ‘n Stripes, a Salute to America’s Greatest Composers.

Conceived by Open Air Theatre artistic directors, Louis Palena and Jordan Brennan, Stars ‘n Stripes is billed as a celebration of America and Americans. The two hour musical revue salutes America’s greatest composers and includes songs that reflect the American experience.

The musical features music from Rodgers and Hart, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Rodgers and Hammerstein and more.

Performances of Stars ‘n Stripes are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. July 4, 5 and 6.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under.

In addition, Disney’s Cinderella is set for the Children’s Theatre Season at the Open Air Theatre.

Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the Royal Ball. With a little help from her mice friends, and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella goes to the ball, meets the Prince, and falls in love. The musical features songs from the Disney feature film, including ‘A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” and the classic “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.”

Performances of Cinderella are scheduled for 11 a.m. July 4 and 5; and 4 p.m. July 6.

Tickets are $5 for children or adults.

The Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre is located inside Washington Crossing State Park at 355 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, Titusville.
