New Jersey Button Society show set for Sept. 7

Antique, vintage and modern buttons are set to be displayed at the New Jersey Button Society Show and Competition.

The exposition is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 7 at the Union Fire Company fire hall, 1396 River Road, Titusville.

Jim Albanowski and Johnson Frazier are set to present Uniform Buttons by Land, by Sea, by Air, a tribute to the late Donald Van Court, at 1:30 p.m. Van Court is a former president of the National Button Society and author of three button history books.

During the event, judges will determine winners for the button tray competition. There will also be a button raffle.

Admission is $2 for adults and free for individuals under age 17.
