Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre returns for summer season

Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre actors Jessica Bezek and Giuliano Falcone are set to portray Sandy and Danny in Grease, The School Version.

Actors Chloe Lamond and Tristan Lee are set to play Ariel and Prince Eric in Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr.

Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre is set to take audiences back to the ’50s and under the sea during its 15th summer season.

HVCT’s senior group is scheduled to present Grease, The School Version, 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 1 and 3. The junior group is set to present Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 3.

Grease, The School Version, includes Jessica Bezek as Sandy, Giuliano Falcone as Danny, Lewis Chapman as Kenicke, Lydia Buckley as Rizzo, Dominique Ryalls as Frenchy, Drew Reynhout as Doody, Callie Holtermann as Marty, Jillian Sing as Jan, Malcolm Bornmann as Roger, Bryan Hill as Teen Angel and Michael Kiss as Johnny Casino.

The cast of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, includes Chloe Lamond as Ariel, Tristan Lee as Prince Eric, Matthew Immordino as Sebastian, John Raskin as King Triton, Gillian Lee as Flounder and Tiernan Stover as Scuttle.

Both shows feature HVCT’s signature endings called the Wow Bow, which is a bonus mix of music tied to the theme of the show starring the entire cast.

Performances are set for the Performing Arts Center at Hopewell Valley, 259 Pennington-Titusville Road, Pennington.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students/senior citizens/teachers.

Celebrating its 15th year, Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre is a non-profit arts education program endorsed by the NJ Council of the Arts. HVCT’s mission is to enrich and enhance the self-esteem and talents of local students through performing arts
