Planning for the Centennial Gala are Liza Morehouse, WPRB host Jon Solomon, Julie and Bob Thick of Off-Broadstreet Theatre, photographer Nic Robinson and chef Will Mooney of the Brothers Moon.
Two events are scheduled in honor of Hopewell Public Library’s centennial.
The Centennial Committee is set host a time travel-themed family event and evening gala on March 15.
The family event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several locations in Hopewell Boro.
Participants can “time travel” to places around town representing different decades. Children who collect a stamps from each decade location are eligible for a free Centennial T-shirt.
Activities include music and poetry from the Jazz Age, Hopewell trivia, crafts, story time, complimentary snack at Nomad Pizza, signing the Centennial Ledger at the Hopewell Museum, and hot cocoa with Boro Bean.

The gala is scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. at Off-Broadstreet Theatre, 5 South Greenwood Ave., Hopewell.
The gala features a tapas-style menu catered by Will Mooney of the Brothers Moon. The menu also includes wine, beer and a signature cocktail.
WPRB radio personality John Solomon is set to provide music. Nic Robinson Photography is set to provide a photo booth.
The gala also includes a silent auction featuring dozens of autographed books by authors such as John McPhee, James M. McPherson and Barbara Kingsolver. Pulitzer prize winning poet C.K. Williams donated a limited edition volume of his poetry, Sixty, designed and letter-press printed by Boro resident David Sellers.
Tickets are $100.
Proceeds from the event will help fund modern library facilities and equipment.
