Sunnybrae School PTA hosted its 13th Annual Pancakes and PJ’s Night and Holiday Shop on Dec. 6 in the school cafeteria and library.

More than 250 parents, children and teachers attended to kick off the holiday season.

The PTA served a full breakfast menu of pancakes, bacon, sausage and home fries. Broad Street Diner, The Growing Place, Chik-Fil-A, Golden Dawn Diner, Friendly’s Restaurant, Mastori’s, Starbucks, Dolce and Clemente, BJ’s, Walmart, Acme and Polar Blue Bear Water donated goods for the event.

Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special appearance. Mrs. Claus read to the children and Santa had his picture taken with the students.

A portion of the event’s proceeds were donated by the PTA to Santa’s charity of choice, The Salvation Army of Trenton Children’s Camp. Proceeds also support educational materials and programs for Sunnybrae students.
