St. Greg’s team advance in History Bowl

Saint Gregory the Great Academy won first place in the Central New Jersey Middle School History Bowl on March 12.

The team now has a chance to compete in the National Championship in Washington, D.C. with their social studies teacher Elizabeth Mills.

Two teams from the academy entered the regional competition at Lawrence Middle School on March 12. After three rounds, the St. Gregory’s team A was ranked first out of ten teams.

The winning team included Joseph Kale, Jack Boles, Nicholas Ehring, David Luciano and Caitlin Clarke.

Members of Team B included Jason Morelli, Sean O’Donnell, Nick Anderson and Alex Stanton.
