A couple with experience operating a restaurant in Monmouth County has taken over as the new owners of Spigola Restaurant and Bar in Hamilton.

Sourabh “Sam” and Puja Jain were joined for an April 10 ribbon-cutting event by Jeff Martin, mayor of Hamilton; Hal English, president of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce; and Michele Siekerka, president of NJBIA.

Sam and Puja Jain also own Bombay River, a restaurant in Red Bank. Spigola, established in 2006, is known for its Italian cuisine.

“We are absolutely delighted to take the helm at Spigola Restaurant & Bar in Hamilton Township,” the Jains said in a statement released by said Sam and Puja. “A sincere thank you to Hamilton Township for the warm and gracious welcome. We are eager to honor Spigola’s cherished legacy while elevating service, enhancing the dining experience, and striving for excellence in every aspect.”

Martin said Hamilton is excited to welcome Sam and Puja Jain and their “fresh energy” at Spigola.

“Their new menu combines traditional Spigola Italian cuisine with innovative elements, offering a unique experience for Hamilton residents,” he said.
