Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton opened a new art gallery in collaboration with the Princeton Photography Club.

Lakefront Gallery’s first exhibition called A Point of View is set to open on June 13 with a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. It features five full series by Princeton Photography Club members.

The gallery brings original photographic art to the walls of the hospital, which enriches the patient and visitor experience and provides additional exposure for local artists.

It was developed with the guidance of director Ilya Genin, a Hamilton cardiologist, and curator Sheila Geisler. The gallery is dedicated to emerging artists and provides show space at no charge to the artist.

Lakefront Gallery is organized and managed by Diane Grillo, vice president of marketing and communications at RWJ Hamilton. The gallery space is ADA-accessible and is located on the first floor of the hospital along the mezzanine above the Roma Bank Café.

RWJ Hamilton is located at 1 Hamilton Health Place.

To submit photographic art for consideration, contact Sheila Geisler (732) 422-3676 or sgeisler@rci.rutgers.edu.
