Labor Day beach party to benefit Project Freedom

Members of Resurrection Lutheran Church’s chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are set to host a Labor Day beach party.

The party is set to benefit Project Freedom residents, their families and aides. The organization aim to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live independently.

It is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 2 at 223 Hutchinson Road, Hamilton.

The party features games, music and picnic food.
