Kuser Elementary School students Tara Szcezpanski, Jael Laramore, Hailey Nardone, Ronell Brewer, Adam Kounelias, Amber Ascencio and Joshua Morrison stand in front of their Wall of Peace.

In honor of Veterans Day, Kuser Elementary School students created a tribute to veterans called Wall of Peace.

The Wall of Peace is made up of thank you notes to veterans.

As part of the activity, students reflected on what freedom and peace means to them. Then, they wrote a thank you to family members that are currently serving in the armed forces or have served in the past.

This activity is part of Kuser’s 2013-14 school-wide theme of “Blooming with Respect.”
