Kuser Farm Mansion to screen ‘Percy Jackson’ film

Movie Nite at Kuser Farm Mansion continues in March.

Along with a screening of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, a local artist it set to present a lecture about pottery in March.

The Kusers were long associated with 20th Century Fox and were known in the township for their weekend movie nights, showing the film company’s movies, often before they were released to the public. Each month, the tradition continues with an indoor movie on the 18 ½ foot, Cinemascope screen at Kuser Farm Mansion.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 14. In the film, a teenager discovers he is the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to find Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt.

Chairs are provided, but participants are invited to bring their own chair cushion or lawn chair.

At Kuser Farm Mansion, 390 Newkirk Ave, Hamilton, NJ, 08610 on Saturday March 22 & Sunday, March 23 from 11 am – 3 pm.

Local artist Jane Proulx is set to present Glaze Surfaces on Pottery: Firing and Glazing Processes 1 p.m. March 23. Proulx’s artwork will be on display at Kuser Mansion on 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 22 and 23.
