Hamilton Township Rotary members stuffed more than 75 backpacks with essential school supplies for young scholars in need for the new school year.

The backpack program is just one of Hamilton Rotary’s projects geared toward local youth. Other youth projects include sweatshirts for elementary students during the holidays and scholarships for graduating seniors at each Hamilton public high school, as well as the technical high schools Hamilton students attend.

Hamilton Rotary Club is scheduled to host its annual Harvest Brunch, one of the major fundraising events that helps fund student projects, Nov. 2.
