Marguerite Mount, recipient of the Mary Jo Codey Award.

On April 16, Family Guidance Center will honor Marguerite Mount with the Mary Jo Codey Award at their Spring Fling from 6-9 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the corporate campus of Janssen Pharmaceuticals, 1125 Trenton Harbourton Road, Titusville in Hopewell Township.

The award was established in honor of the former First Lady of New Jersey to recognize a member of the community who steadfastly advocates for the rights of individuals challenged by a variety of personal or family problems.

Ms. Mount has served on numerous non-profit boards, and currently serves as Chairwoman of the Mercadien Foundation. She has been active in the community her entire professional career with a strong emphasis on financial literacy and empowerment.

The event will include dinner, a silent auction and entertainment by the Blue Meanies Beatles cover band.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Family Guidance Center and its programs in outpatient mental health, substance abuse treatment, financial literacy, and special education programming.

Individual tickets are $90. Call 609-586-0668 for more information.
