Assemblyman Benson and Womanspace team up for Donation Drive

Assemblyman Dan Benson has announced a partnership with Womanspace to host a Donation Drive to collect unwrapped holiday donations for women and their children.

Womanspace is a nonprofit organization in Mercer County that provides numerous services to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Some of the services offered include crisis intervention, emergency shelter, counseling, and court advocacy. They make services available to anyone, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, disability or financial situation.

Womanspace is a part of the NJ Coalition to End Domestic Violence, The NJ Coalition against Sexual Assault, and the National Coalition to End Domestic Violence. Womanspace’s official name is the New Jersey Statewide Domestic Violence Hotline.

Accepted items include unwrapped womens and childrens clothing, coats, accessories, shoes and toys.

Donations can be dropped off now through December 14, 2015 at Assemblyman Dan Benson’s District Office located in the Nottingham Square Village at 3691A Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
