40th annual St. George Greek Festival May 14

The 40th Annual St. George Greek Festival is scheduled to take place May 14 through 17 at the St. George Community Center located at 1200 Klockner Road in Hamilton Township.

The festival will celebrate the culture, traditions, music and cuisine of Greece. Visitors will be able to enjoy authentic homemade Greek food and pastries, dance to the sounds of the bouzouki, and witness traditional Greek dances.

The festival will also include outdoor grills with souvlaki and gyros, the Taverna, the Mezedakia Bar featuring hors d’oeuvres, the Agora market place, a flea market and a tour of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church.

The festival will be open Thursday, May 14 from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 from noon to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 17 from noon to 7 p.m.

Parking is free and a handicap ramp will be available.
