195 ramp in Hamilton set to close July 2

An Interstate 195 westbound ramp in Hamilton is schedule to close for maintenance on July 2.

New Jersey Department of Transportation maintenance and operations crews are set to conduct tree-trimming and guide rail repair effort along the Interstate 195 westbound ramp to Route 130 northbound.

To create a safe work zone along this ramp, the connection is set to be closed to motorists between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m., weather permitting.

Interstate 195 westbound motorists destined for Route 130 northbound will be directed to take the ramp for Route 130 southbound to the ramp for I-195 eastbound to the ramp for Route 130 northbound.

Signage is set to be in place to notify motorists of the closure and detour.

Trimming back overgrown foliage and repairing damaged guide rail along New Jersey state highways and ramps are essential safety components of the Clean Up NJ campaign.
