Washington Crossing Park to host spring walk May 17

The Washington Crossing Park Association is set to host “A Walk in the Park with George” on Sunday, May 17 at 9 a.m. The walk will begin at the Visitor Center Museum, 355 Washington Crossing Road in Titusville.

The one-mile fun walk will feature General George Washington portrayed by well-known re-enactor Sam Davis. Participants may walk the one-mile route to the Johnson Ferry House and back or continue on for longer routes throughout the park.

Registration will take place at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9 a.m. Those who sign-up prior to May 7 will receive a special t-shirt. After May 7, t-shirts will be given upon availability.

Early bird registration is due by April 15 and costs $20 for adults and $10 for children. After May 1, registration is$25 for adults and $15 for children (children under 8 are free).
