A free computer safety presentation is set for the Ewing Senior and Community Center.

R&D Internet Associates representative, Robin Kessler, is scheduled to present Learn the Tools to Keep Your Computer Safe at 2 p.m. on Aug. 6.

The program is part of The Computer Learning Center’s free Tips and Tricks program. It is set to be preceded by a question and answer session at 1:30 p.m.

A teacher, lecturer and course developer, Kessler plans to address what are the best antivirus programs, how to use Facebook safely and how to surf the Internet without getting into trouble.

Kessler’s presentation also includes information on using Windows 8 and which Microsoft Office programs to use.

She is set to raffle off a copy of Windows 8 Pro Upgrade, full version of Malwarebytes and Superantispyware Pro software and the Second Copy backup program.

The non-profit Computer Learning Center offers a variety of PC and iPad computer skills courses for adults in central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.

The Ewing Senior and Community Center is located at 999 Lower Ferry Road.
