Ewing resident named Child Care Connection board president

Ewing resident Joseph P. Kurpiewski was elected president of Child Care Connection’s board of trustees.

He is set to succeed Clayton E. Chandler III, who stepped down from the board after six years of dedicated service.

Kurpiewski is a senior-level consulting professional with Deloitte, LLP. He is involved in consulting assignments covering business strategy and planning, as well as internal and external environment assessments and impact analysis, business process redesign, and systems development.

A three-year member of the board, Kurpiewski holds an MBA in decision sciences from Rider and an Masters in management from Temple University, where he serves as an adviser.

In addition to his work with CCC, he is involved in Deloitte’s IMPACT Day and is a member of the Ewing Township Kiwanis Club.

Other newly-elected Board of Trustees members include Spring Lake resident Gaetana Carbone, an audit senior with Deloitte’s Princeton office; Princeton resident Joy Saxena, an analyst with ETS in Princeton; and Amanda Goceljak, Esq., an associate with the law office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Princeton. Other members of the board include Sherry Byrd, Dr. Mildred Rice Jordan, vice president Allison Jordan-Smith and secretary Kimberley Lunetta.

The Child Care Connection, Inc. is a private, non-profit child care resource and referral organization serving central New Jersey.
